This was a repeat of our 25th Anniversary Cruise - we enjoyed the Jubilee so much, we decided to sail on her again for Christmas. There were some notable differences - Christmas has massive family groups, which clogs up everything, there was a different Cruise Director (come back, Kyndall!), and the weather was pretty rough which made it virtually impossible for me to move around without a scooter. (After falling and scraping up my knee and jamming my wrist, I spent a lot of time in the cabin or on the balcony.)
We shopped in Cozumel, skipped Costa Maya, and decided not to try getting the scooters wet in the rain in Roatan. So, not very port intensive as cruises go.
We took three cooking classes (thanks, Chef Steph!) - an Elegant Italian Dinner, Pizza and Pie. So, savory pie and sweet pie. We attended the Chef's Table which was an impressive dinner. We also visited Rudi's Seagrill which is probably one and done.
We also had our first wedding at sea - presided over by Captain Bob. Santa's cousin Pancho married his fiance Dolores. Their honeymoon was in Roatan, in the rain. They will live in Dallas, and travel the world whenever Graham Gnome invites them to come along.
